2012 was a positive year for Talking Streets, that commenced with independent anthropology teaching modules and a range of cultural workshops to students, schools and community groups from the anthropology of photography to street art and the cultural meaning of smell. The year continued with a successful research trip to India in collaboration with Intach UK (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) who sponsored my research project on the Talking Streets in Pondicherry, South India. I concluded with the delivery of lectures to a new business and anthropology audience at the City Business Library, London. With enthusiasm and energy I look forward to building upon this experience with exciting Talking Street project developments in India and the Uk and continued teaching of anthropology in 2013.
On behalf of the Talking Streets I wish you a happy and successful New Year.
